As part of the Manx Amateur Drama Federation’s Easter Festival of One Act and Full Length Plays we performed The Monkey’s Paw.
The Monkey’s Paw is a horror version of a story about three wishes. The White family are gifted a wish-granting talisman and warned not to use it. Ignoring this, and without consideration for the consequences, they begin to use the wishes. The wishes are all granted, but at what cost…
Be careful what you wish for… it might come true.
Written by William Wymark Jacobs the story was adapted for the stage by Alex Armstrong.
